Description
Muzeum Susch Magazine – MS#6 – serves as both a creative chronicle and a platform for artistic dialogue, reflecting the most significant moments at Muzeum Susch in 2024. It brings together key exhibitions, research and conversations that shape our institution’s curatorial vision.
This edition’s cover features a work by Judy Chicago, an artist who holds special significance for me. Chicago is a true rebel and visionary whose work has consistently challenged traditional narratives while celebrating the diversity of female identity. Inside the magazine, you will find a conversation between the artist and Cecilia Alemani. We also present three major exhibitions held in the museum: Anu Põder: Space for My Body, Tapta: Flexible Forms and Běla Kolářová & Emila Medková: Where No One Looked Before.
Beyond documenting past events, MS#6 fosters dialogue and reflection. The Instituto Susch section highlights three remarkable Balkan artists — Vera Fischer, Șerbana Drăgoescu and Lume Blloshmi — while reflections on Tracey Emin’s newly installed site-specific works at Muzeum Susch conclude this edition on a powerful note.
