Description

Muzeum Susch Magazine - MS#5 - commemorates the fifth anniversary of the museum’s opening in 2019.

MS#5 serves as a platform to initiate, continue and deepen creative dialogue with the artists, curators and researchers who have contributed to the programme of Muzeum Susch. We invite all contributors to see it as another ‘stage’ for their presentations and reflections – positioned alongside an exhibition space or performance venue – offering a uniquely intimate one-to-one encounter with the reader. This edition is not only a testament to our journey but also a celebration of the indelible mark left by women artists on the world of avant-garde art.

On the cover of this special jubilee edition, we feature the captivating work of the iconic Marina Abramović, a defining figure in the field of women’s art. Her profound impact on the art world amplifies the mission of Muzeum Susch – a space dedicated to empowering female artists to assert their presence and challenge the norms of a historically male-dominated art scene.
