Description
Each yearbook gathers a considered selection of writings by residents and guests of the TEMPORARS SUSCH programme. Some of the texts were conceived in situ, shaped by the immediacy of place; others began as seeds during the residency, unfolding into writing only later. Still others found, in Susch, the necessary distance for revision—returning to earlier work shaped elsewhere. Certain contributions were written expressly for the yearbook; others are carefully chosen excerpts from projects developed during the residency, generously offered by their authors to join this collection.
Each year, residents and guests also contribute to THE EXEMPLARY SYLLABUS COLLECTION: a shared and evolving constellation of recommended reading, listening, and viewing inserted in each yearbook. Inevitably, such a syllabus resists closure. What appears there is not a fixed canon but a beginning—a temporary articulation of urgency at the moment of its making and, at the same time, a trace of those quieter, more persistent voices that continue to resonate within us. Some remain. Some return. Some accompany us indefinitely. The syllabus is a living reference—an evolving framework for the multifaceted practices of MUZEUM SUSCH and beyond.
The book is exclusively sold at Muzeum Susch.
