Mareike Dittmer is a writer, curator, and editor working across disciplines, with a particular interest in developing new formats for artistic and discursive programmes and fostering public engagement. Since 2024, she has been curator of TEMPORARS SUSCH, the writers’ residency program at Muzeum Susch. Since 2025, she serves as artistic director of the public art programme REFLECTION and the ALP summer laboratory, both hosted by Kulturstiftung St. Moritz. She is also Co-Chair of The Futurological Congress 2015–2030, together with Julieta Aranda.

Dittmer has conceived numerous programs and led collaborations, publications, and institutions; recent roles include Director of Public Engagement at TBA21–Academy and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Contemporary (2020–2024), Director of Art Stations Foundation CH (2018–2020), and Chair of Disputaziuns Susch (2017–2019). Earlier roles include various positions at frieze magazine (1999–2017), lately as Associate Publisher of frieze and Co-Publisher of frieze d/e. From 2019 to 2025, she was a lecturer in the BA Fine Arts program at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Her recent book projects include Muzeum Susch: Alpine Laboratory (2025), Temporars Susch 2025, and The Exemplary Syllabus Collection Part 1. She lives and works in the Engadin, Switzerland, and Berlin, Germany.
